Bagonza who serves as a member in National Task Force for Religious Leaders in dealing with Covid 19 was the first one to be vaccinated that day. Before the inauguration, Bishop encouraged all people attending at Nyakahanga that vaccine is safe. He was accompanied by Dean Rev. Yared Wakami and other Church Ministers. The vaccination process included people with 50 years and above, with chronic diseases and special groups in the society like medical staff, Pastors and law enforcement. During the opening word Bishop Bagonza congratulated those who were willingly to come and vaccinate. He emphasized that vaccine is safe as it has been authorized by WHO and other International health and research institutes. Therefore there should be no doubt against it because Covid 19 is the serious threat to human life. He said, There are three things that everyone need to be aware of before vaccination. Firstly, vaccination doesn’t guarantee one not to get Corona virus. Secondly, a vaccinated person can get Corona but won’t get a serious illness since the vaccine is the protection. Lastly, a vaccinated person won’t die of Corona virus. Therefore all who have come for vaccination you have made good decision” said Bishop Bagonza Covid has affected all nations in the world including Tanzania in all spheres of Life. Therefore inauguration of Vaccination process is the breakthrough to reduce its impact in the society. Jensen vaccine prevents corona for 66% and in case one is affected by corona the vaccine prevents him for 86% from getting a serious illness and this vaccine prevents corona deaths for 100%.
